An Update

Hey Guys,

So you may be wondering where I've been for the past few weeks....

Well Christmas came and went and now I'm back at uni where the pace has picked up again. I'm in a pool of lectures, seminars and deadlines. I have more assignments due in than I do nails to paint so I've been slacking, sorry :/.

However, it's not all bad, I've just added a new page at the top of this (under the banner) and it's my collection! It literally took me forever to list everything and I've got a few swatches there for you viewing pleasure but I will be adding more in due time. For now, it's an extensive list of every polish I own and it will be updated regularly. So check it out :)

And now I think I'll just have a little chit-chat.

If you are a university student (or have been to uni/know someone who has) then you'll know that January is the time to arrange accommodation for the following academic year. This is possibly more stressful than an assignment. And for first timers like me and my 2 best friends, looking at houses and worrying about rent and deposits is kinda scary. But we found the house of our dreams, it's a perfect little 3 bed with big rooms, a generous living area and a good sized bathroom. It even has a garden and a utility room :o. Our new house is amazing and we are SO excited to move in!

What's been going on in your life? Are you a uni student and sorting out housing? Let me know in the comments!

Also, what does everyone think of my stash page? Any tips on how to do quick swatches?!

Love Emily x

January Nail Art Challenge

That's right, I've decided to do my first ever nail art challenge! I chose to do this one created by Calofornails because I know I am not dedicated enough to do challenges that post every day.
The first theme is 'fresh' and I'll be honest I had no idea what to do. In the end, I decided to use new (or fresh ;)) polishes. This is Mauve Kiss and Urban Coral from the Maybelline color show collection. I decided to do a simple polka dot mani as I'm not at home right now and I don't have any of my nail art things. I had to use a hair clip/Bobby pin which I stretched out to make dots.
Also, I'm having to post this from my phone (hoping it posts properly) as I'm having trouble with blogger on my laptop. I should be back to regular posting soon!
